Tips to enter the New Year positively


Since 2023 just came in, why not leave a few tips on how to enter the new year with a more positive mind??


  1. Show gratitude for the year that has passed

Even if you had a rocky start and finish from this year, there's no reason why should rate it a 1 out of 10, there must have been some source of events that you should be grateful for. Going out with friends and family is one, a new relationship or maybe a new purchase that you have that you enjoy or found it very useful. You maybe even had a tough year in college or university but finally managed to survive the year and every single assignment !

You should write down on a piece of paper or a notebook about every positive thing that happened this passed year it will boost your mood and think about the better things that next year has to offer.


2. List upcoming events that excite you


2023 may be a blurry vision to some so far, but most of us have a few upcoming events in the next year ! A concert or a new upcoming season from your favorite show and so on !

Listing down all the coming events on a piece of paper and pinning them somewhere visible -like a bulletin board-, just by looking at it and remembering them will keep you motivated and excited about it, helping you uplift your spirit and help your stay optimistic for the future !


3. Having realistic goals and resolutions


Many of us have lots of goals all spread throughout the whole year, but how achievable are they? One way to make sure that you achieve these goals as you please is by breaking them into smaller, more achievable goals every month, week or days and by doing so you have more of a chance on reaching them faster !


4. Take some time to focus on yourself and your mental health


Entering the new years with a positive mindset will for sure reset you for a fresh start. Though it may seem a bit hard and difficult at first since you may not have the time to do so, ,it will actually make you feel a lot better. Do whatever you enjoy, whether it be drinking some hot coffee or tea in the morning before work, going to the gym or even meditate for 15 minutes to help boost your soul and mood to get you ready for the day ahead of you.


The future seems unknown to us but it's best to keep a positive mind, a healthy state of mind and body and always look on the bright side!
