The Secret to Luscious Locks: A Guide to Creating Perfect Curls

Luscious curls are one of the most beautiful hairstyles someone could have and today we'll help you achieve these gorgeous curls that bounce with every step you take! We will keep it all natural with no heat tools and refer to some heatless night curls as well, just keep reading!

CURLS WITH NO HEAT:

First things first, investing in a good hair shampoo is important. Make sure you find a shampoo free from parabens, alcohol, silicone, and sulfates. These ingredients are harmful to your hair!

the way you wash your hair is more important than what you think. A good way to clean your hair is by foaming up your shampoo between your hands before applying it to your scalp. Massage your scalp with your fingertips (make sure not to use your nails) and rinse. Repeat one more time for a double cleanse and to be sure there are no oils in your hair left.

Next step is.. moisturizing! Make sure you also invest in a good hair conditioner and avoid any parabens, alcohol, silicone, and sulfates as well.

Styling time!! Depending on your hair type you use different styling products, but this time we will suggest you use a hair oil, preferably Moroccan argan oil only on your ends, then get your hair mousse applying it evenly on your hair and scrunch up!

This step is quite optional but using a diffuser can help you achieve a more bouncy look.

CURLS USING HEAT:

Now let's move on to the curls with some heat. Straight hair needs a curling iron with a 1-inch barrel is perfect. If you have wavy or curly hair, you can use a larger barrel, like a 1.5-inch or 2-inch one, to achieve bigger curls. You'll also need a heat protectant spray, a comb, and some hairspray.

Start by washing your hair and applying a heat-protectant spray. Once your hair is dry, divide it into sections. For those with thick hair, you may want to do more sections; for those with thinner hair, you can do fewer sections.

Take one section of hair and begin to curl it with your curling iron. Start at the root of your hair and slowly curl the hair around the barrel of the curling iron, making sure to hold it for about 10-15 seconds. Then release the curl and move on to the next section of hair. Repeat this process until you have curled all of your hair.

Once you have finished curling your hair, take a brush or comb and gently comb through your curls to separate them and make them look more natural. You can also flip your hair upside down and give it a gentle shake to add some volume.

To make sure your curls stay in place, spray them with some hairspray. Make sure to hold the hairspray about 10-12 inches away from your hair to avoid making your hair too stiff.

And there you have it! Big, luscious curls that will have heads turning wherever you go. Either heatless or using a curling iron, you still look amazing! Remember, practice makes perfect, so don't be discouraged if your first attempt doesn't turn out exactly how you want it. Keep trying, and soon you'll be a curling pro!
