The science behind high fashion runways

It is known that most of the time attending a high fashion show might leave you wondering who will wear these garments since they seem unwearable.

There's an explanation behind it and why fashion designers tend to go crazy with clothes to the point that some people find them unpleasant to the eye. Being into the fashion industry requires a lot of creativity and for you to be open-minded about anything, since the fashion industry is such a closed place to be, outsiders find it hard to understand some aspects of it.

First of all, most of the time designing garments are not only fashion designing but also art. Designers tend to get creative and show their art at runway shows.

It's also no secret that clothes worn on runways won't get into boutiques and designers want the show experience, to be unique and be seen as an art exhibition.

Another reason why some high fashion garments may seem unwearable is that the designer planned to do so. Since the fashion show is not a place to sell individual pieces, designers find that as a perfect way to set up a mood and show a background.

Designers want to show fabric and texture, creating a base in the mind of the audience to get creative and make those garments wearable.
