The Met Gala 2023 took place in the first day of May, at New York city in the metropolitan museum of art and as expected, it was a night to remember. The theme for this year's event was "Karl Lagerfeld: a line of beauty," and it brought out the best of fashion and creativity from celebrities around the world.
Each year, the event has a different theme that serves as a guideline for guests' dress code, and this year's theme paid homage to the legendary fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.
Karl Lagerfeld, passed away in 2019 and he was known for his distinctive aesthetic, which mixed classic elegance with avant-garde touches. He'd always work with chains and pearls, black and white colors, so therefore some of the met gala fits were fitting Karl's work.
