Body Language: Growing Within and the connection between our bodies and us

The most important value to achieve in life is self-love, balance, and connection with yourself. Keeping an eye on what your body is calling you out for. Our purpose is to fulfill our goals and find true peace within ourselves. We sometimes find it difficult to achieve that due to work demands, stressful days, and other factors that may be holding us back and causing negative emotions.

We need to understand our bodies a bit better by taking some time off. Take some time to nourish your mind and body. Accept your feelings, and understand that your feelings are valid and it's something that no one can control. Everyone has different ways of coping, finding peace, and making themselves feel better on rough days.

Some good ways to start if you're feeling completely lost are by

  1. listening to some chill music

  2. practicing your breathing

  3. taking a steamy shower or bath

  4. drinking some coffee or tea

  5. reading a book

  6. sunbathing

  7. taking a walk

  8. socializing

  9. crafting

Sometimes we get unmotivated, believing that we're just lazy to do anything when in reality, all of this is just emotional tiredness, which can manifest within our bodies as physical or mental exhaustion. This could include a change in appetite, whether dealing with eating or missing meals, restlessness, body tension, skin sensitivity, mental fog, and headaches.

Your body may be urging you to do so, and you must listen. Take it easy, just take moment to relax and take some time to heal. Learn how to grow as a person even under such circumstances.

It is essential to listen to what your body is trying to tell you and nourish it in the best way possible. Take that hot bath and hydrate it with your favorite lotion, drink some water, eat your favorite fruit or vegetable, prepare a meal you have been craving for a while, meditate and take this time to recover knowing you are not alone and that you are strong.
